WWA101 F25) Introduction to Water and Wastewater Operation (180 hours)
 

The dates, times, and/or delivery method (in-person or remote) of this class are subject to change as needed. All registered students will be notified via email and/or phone if any changes occur. If you do not receive a notification from the Adult Education office, the class will run as scheduled.

Provides foundational knowledge in mathematics, science, and basic water/wastewater principles.

  • Key Topics:

    • Mathematics & Science: Basic math, algebra, geometry, physics, hydraulics, electricity, chemistry, microbiology.

    • Water Distribution & Treatment: Introduction to water distribution systems and basic water treatment processes.

  • Licensing: Satisfactory completion, along with one year of on-the-job experience and a high school diploma, fulfills the New Jersey state requirements for S-1, C-1, and T-1 level Water and Wastewater Operation Licenses.
