Foundations of Pet Grooming

  • Grooming Techniques: Proper grooming techniques for various dog breeds and cats.

  • Animal Handling and Safety: Safe and effective handling and restraint techniques for different animals.

  • Bathing and Drying: Proper bathing and drying techniques.

  • Client Services: Answering phones, scheduling appointments, admitting animals, and communicating with clients about grooming procedures.

  • Focus: Builds a strong foundation in grooming theory and basic skills.

Important Note of Physical Demands: Requires the ability to lift animals, which can be physically demanding.
