1. Certified Nurse aide (CNA) current for New Jersey
2. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers - CPR-AHA (BLS/CPR Class)

The CHHA provides essential support and compassionate care for individuals in their own homes.. CHHHAs play a crucial role in improving patient quality of life while working under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Duties include:

Personal Care: Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Homemaking Services: Providing essential household support, including shopping, errands, laundry, meal planning and preparation (including therapeutic diets), and serving meals.

Childcare: May include providing basic childcare support to family members of the patient.

Legal Framework: Operates within the scope of practice defined by N.J.A.C. 13:37-6.2, the regulations governing home health aides in New Jersey.
