The Fall 2008 term of group classes are in session NOW!  It will run for 10 weeks from the week of September 15th through the week of November 17th.   If you missed the classes for this term, check back with us in December to see the schedule and find out more information about our Winter 2009 Term from the week of January 12th through the week of March 16th. About Our Group classes: Most scheduled group classes meet for 10 weeks; once a week for two hours on weeknights. A few daytime, Saturday, and accelerated classes are also offered. Classes having less than five enrolled students by the enrollment deadline will be cancelled and the fee credited back to you unless another suitable class is found.  Please register early to avoid cancellation of your first-choice class! Placement: If you've taken the language of interest in the past and need placement in the appropriate level class, call the Foreign Languages Department at (615) 741-7579 or e-mail us at fl@foreignlanguages.org. Note: Currently, there are limited funds available for scholarships.  You may still apply, however, please understand that every request for financial aid may not be met.  We are in the process of searching for new funding to continue helping our students in the future.  Thank you. Off-line Registration: If you intend to use a State of Tennessee Employee Fee Waiver, apply for a Scholarship or participate in our Volunteer Program, your registration cannot be processed online. Instead, please: Search the online catalog at left for the class you wish to take and note the "class code"/language/time/day/place of the class you wish to take. Enter that information on a registration form, along with your personal contact details. Then, email, fax, OR mail it to us along with your signed fee-waiver form, scholarship form OR volunteer application. We will contact you regarding the status of your registration and/or application. State of Tennessee Fee Waiver students, Scholarship recipients and volunteers must purchase their course materials separately. Custom Classes: Custom (private) classes can be scheduled at any time, regardless of the term in progress. You and your instructor set the schedule, the meeting place and the pace with which you or your group feel/s comfortable. We always offer custom classes, short-term accelerated classes, "Travel Prep" classes, workplace and other specialty foreign language classes. Check the Class Schedule at left under the language of interest or contact the Foreign Languages Department for details at (615) 741-7579 or fl@foreignlanguages.org.   Course Materials: Course materials (books) can also be purchased online. This insures that your book(s) will be waiting for you at your first class. Browse for your book under "Materials -- Bookstore for TFLI Classes", select the language of interest and look for the books required for the class you are taking.  Note: Materials purchased through TFLI will be held for you at your first class. Please wait for your selected class to be confirmed before picking up materials. Materials can only be returned if unopened and unused.

If TFLI cancels class and cannot accommodate you with other options, your class payment will be fully refunded. 2. If you cancel (at least 7 calendar days prior to start date) you may: receive a refund less a $25 dollar processing fee, or have TFLI credit the full fee toward a future term Note: NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED THE WEEK BEFORE OR ANYTIME AFTER THE START OF CLASSES.
