Why feel limited to the choices of yarn that craft stores offer? Learn how to spin your own yarn in this 4 week class, and discover the step between shearing the sheep and yarn on a shelf. Students will learn the fundamentals of spinning using a drop spindle, top and bottom whorls, and will experiment with different fibers, wool alpaca, cotton bamboo and more! Student will have the opportunity to try out the spinning wheel and will walk away with hand made skeins.

No experience necessary. Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! 

All necessary materials are included for swatch making. Any additional fabrics and materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. Also, we have Open Studio time for students to put their new knowledge to practice!
