An in-house book editor for more than 20 years, THERESA BURNS holds an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Her poems, reviews and non-fiction have appeared in The New York Times, nytimes.com, Prairie Schooner, Bellevue Literary Review, Two Bridges Review and upstreet, among other places. She has taught writing at Seton Hall University, FIT and the 92nd Street Y, among other institutions. Her company, Writing-Ready, offers one-on-one instruction for college admissions essays, as well as more general preparation for the rigors of college writing.
