099) HEALTHY EATING FOR DR. SEUSS'S BIRTHDAY
 

Young chefs, led by author CC Minton, will follow the story of Daddy’s Greek Potato Pie and learn about science, math, weighing, measuring and problem-solving while mixing, mashing and preparing their own daddy’s Greek potato pie to take home. In honor of National Nutrition Month, the young chefs will learn about and use ingredients from all five food groups included in the USDA’s ChooseMyPlate chart. For grades K-4. CC MINTON is a local author, award-winning advocate and lifestyle ambassador who attended the 2015 White House Kids State Dinner.
