 Class Locations

The location for each course is noted immediately following the course title, for example: 013 The Art of Stained Glass, PHS, 072 The Art of Thai Cooking, DH. See page 50 for full name and addresses of all locations. Room assignments for classes at PHS will be posted in the main high school lobby when you arrive for your first class. Specific locations and teachers are subject to change.

PARKING, PARKING, PARKING
Think parking at Princeton High School is a problem? We believe that you will find it has greatly improved over the past years. Here are some suggestions for successful parking for Adult School classes. There are 150 parking spaces in the high school lots—enter from Houghton or Walnut Streets. And there is plentiful parking on the streets surrounding the high school. The school-day parking restrictions on borough streets around the high school do not affect Adult School parking. Since those restrictions end at 6:00 pm, on-street parking at night is the same as it has always been. Check the signs! Do not block our neighbors’ driveways!

And, remember the hospital parking lot on Franklin Avenue, which is only two well-lighted short residential blocks from the high school. The University Medical Center makes its large, street-level staff lot available for Adult School use on Tuesday and Thursday nights. There are two entrances; enter the one closest to the hospital (the one nearest the high school is the exit and the gate is usually down). Give this lot a try.

In addition, several of our courses meet at other locations. For example, the lecture series—the single course with the largest enrollment each term—is held at Princeton University. Other courses are held at the elementary or middle schools or at Dorothea’s House.

One last suggestion. Give yourself some extra time; that way, you can find a place to park, and still get to class on time, relaxed and ready to enjoy your evening.
