I have been a lifelong resident of the area, first in Bucks County PA and now in Titusville NJ. I have worked at Wells Fargo Bank for 43 years as a computer programmer. I began playing disc golf after I turned 50. Within a year, I was head of maintenance for the Bucks County Disc Golf Alliance headquartered at Tyler State Park in Pennsylvania. Shortly thereafter, I became president of that club, a position I held for a little over 4 years. After moving to New Jersey, I transitioned my involvement to the course at Mercer County Park. I am now president of the disc golf club based there.
I play disc golf several times a week, sometimes every day for weeks at a time. I enjoy every aspect of the experience, especially how inclusive the disc golf communities are. I have stated many times that it's a rare arena where people from all walks of life and all age groups are welcomed to participate and disc golf is the best example of that that I've ever encountered. It doesn't matter what your skill level is - you will be welcome! Disc golfers just want to play!
