Kyle Masson is a Ph.D. candidate in Musicology at Princeton University. where he specializes in music of the seventeenth century. His dissertation addresses the operas and cantatas of one of the 17th-century’s most lauded musicians, the composer-performer Antonio Cesti, in their historical contexts. A trained vocalist and licensed music educator, Kyle delights in bringing his enthusiasm for opera to new audiences. He developed the opera outreach program at the Castleton Opera Festival under the direction of Maestro Lorin Maazel, and currently serves as a Teacher Artist for the Princeton Festival. |
