Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stockton University in English Language and Composition. Samantha received a Master of Arts in English in 2011 from Stockton University, and pursued a Master of Arts degree at Monmouth University with endorsement in ESL. She graduated in 2013. She was bestowed the President's Award for scholastic excellence by Monmouth University's President Emeritus, Paul G. Gaffney in 2012.
In 2013, she started her doctoral journey in PhD studies of curriculum and instruction at Rowan University. In July 2018, she became a full-time doctoral candidate studying the field of Educational Technology Leadership at New Jersey City University.
She holds certifications for Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 107 as a Remote Pilot for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and hosts the podcast, TakingCTRL in STEAM & ED Tech, a podcast featuring the underrepresented voices of ethnic and female minorities in STEAM education and careers.
