Spring 2014 Session coming soon!
Registration opens at 9:00am on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014
Classes begin the week of February 3rd
We are currently working on Spring course schedules and the brochure which will be posted here online in December. Physical brochures will be mailed throughout Morris County at the end of December.
You can get a jump on enrolling for classes that start in Spring or Fall by taking the pre-entrance test now
Thursday, December 12 at 9:00am
The pre-entrance test for apprenticeship courses, auto tech, cosmetology, HVAC (full time), and all our health occupation programs* consists of a math section (35 questions) and a reading comprehension section (40 questions). This is a paper/pencil, multiple choice test--no calculators for math concepts which are life skills related--no algebra, calculus, etc. You are allowed one hour to complete each section. Plan on being here for about 2 1/2 hours.
- Test fee is $25
- Bring photo ID (driver's license, passport, school/company ID, etc)
- Test Location: Building 2, Room 204
Test scores are reported back to you within 24 hours or less in grade level equivalent; programs have different acceptable thresholds. Your score is recorded in our records so that you will not have to take the pre-entrance test again even if you don't register for a class now.
If your score does not meet the levels necessary to register for class, you can take our free, basic skills classes to take the test again the next season; you cannot take the test again for at least 4 months.
*LPN pre-entrance test schedule starts in March 2014 for the September 2014 LPN program
