Adobe Lightroom is a multifaceted program - from image database management, to a non-destructive digital darkroom environment, to output for web, print, email, and client presentations. This hands-on, six-week workshop will explore Lightroom in depth, from the ground up. Topics will be examined sequentially and will include: setting up your organizational system, importing files, mastering the digital darkroom and output to a variety of media. Each of the Lightroom modules will be covered in depth to showcase the potential for efficiency in managing a non-destructive, streamlined, creative process. Participants will focus on working with their own images to create a customized workflow based on a thorough understanding of the program.

Students are required to bring their own laptops loaded with Lightroom 2 or higher, and a mouse or graphics tablet. If necessary, a free 30-day trial version of Lightroom can be installed by visiting www.adobe.com/downloads.
