The Magic of Electroforming Workshop

Electroforming is the process by which a non-metal object such as a leaf, a shell, or a small plastic figurine can be coated with a layer of copper in a bath by generating an electric current. Learn to prepare samples to electroform, protect them from the acidic electroforming solution, and make them conductive. Each student will have time to prepare at least 3 items to be electroformed. These items can then be made into pendants or earrings in Open Studio. No prior experience necessary. Material fee $10.  More info: silverworksglenechopark.com.
