Hands-on class for beginners that covers the basics of using computers at home and at work. Learn how to get and use Microsoft Office 365 to organize your work, connect to printers and other devices, and basic hardware and software support. Learn basic word processing program Microsoft Word to create letters, brochures, books, and more. We’ll cover Microsoft Powerpoint for making presentations and Outlook for e-mail. Lastly, an overview of Microsoft Excel for developing charts and spreadsheets. Please bring your own device and software to better learn your system. Loaner PC laptops with Microsoft Office available upon request. Great for those re-entering the workforce or brushing up on job skills. Class size is small and will be tailored to meet students’ needs.
