Herb August has been a professional photographer sinced 2006 and has had his photographs published in New Jersey magazines and newspapers.  He has worked with various not-for-profit organizations documenting their work and events around the tri-state area.  He has photographed injured birds in the care of The Raptor Trust in Millington, NJ as well as provided photographic support for both the Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation, Inc and The McCarton Foundation, which offers educational financial aid to families affected by autism.  Additionally, Herbert has served as the digital photograpy instructor at the Westfield Adult School since 2007.
